That’s not to say you won’t find similarities to stuff you know & love – of course you will! To me, Indika sounded like a brilliant hybrid cross between the soulful depths and creativity of someone like Canada’s Esthero, with the vibrantly colorful flair and confident personality of an independent artist like New Zealand’s PRINS – all of this puts her in good company, and has Lex essentially destined for the top spot on your playlists.

As to how exactly she ended up tied up in the middle of a wide open field for the video supporting her debut single…we just might never know – but it sure looks cool, and so does the main star of the show! There’s simply nothing here not to like or completely love – the music is JAMMIN’ and has a relentlessly addictive vibe, and you couldn’t ask for more than exactly what Lex brings to her vocals on “Cotton Candy” – you can hear the green lights that exist ahead of this artist & within a single spin of listening to this tune or watching the video, you’ll realize the same thing I did – she’s heading straight for greatness.
