It was an extremely busy year for this legend right here. Not only was 2023 the debut for the music of Garage T. Rashington III, but throughout the course of its 365 days, it saw the release of his first three albums and an upward trajectory that couldn’t be denied. While it’s fair to say that his 1st & 2nd records could have likely landed him a spot in our annual top ten at the end of the year, each iteration of GTR3’s music simply got better…more ambitious, more adventurous, more zany & more melodic…culminating in his third album, Acoustic Slop. It has been nothing but pure joy to experience the strangeness & skill this mysterious man has revealed through his songs this year – and it’s been just as fun to document his mythology in our reviews & video-interview in 2023. Garage T. Rashington III is a name we’ll surely remember.
