The Vancouver-based grunge band Overdose was only ever around for a short period of time, but we had a chance to check’em out a bunch before they officially broke up. We met’em in 2012 for an interview on SBS Live This Week, saw them play their first of-age club show in Vancouver in early 2013, and had them in our studio to work on some demos before they disbanded shortly after. See what we saw from their time at sleepingbagstudios, and stick around for a bonus cut/flash-forward into the future of lead-singer Tyler Mayfield in the band he’d go on to front after the demise of Overdose – we’ve got Lung Flower in the mix with an alt-version of the video we shot for their single “Beyond Burnt Out” on this episode of SBSLTW!
