For real Reece – you do you my friend, that’s what life is really all about.  This single right here is absolutely beautiful if you ask me…and it seems like somebody out there did, so there you have it, there you go, that’s what I think about “Forgive It All” in a nutshell.  To be real with ya, there’s just about a full-on metric TON of stuff to love about this single and the artist behind it all – Reece is a remarkable & spellbinding talent with a future that’s pretty much as bright as you can potentially conceive.  From the sound of the melody in “Forgive It All” and the flow of the songwriting, to the insightful lyricism within the lyricism, to the mesmerizing and powerfully bold way that Reece sings the words…I tell ya folks – there’s a very good chance that you’re about to experience one of the best cuts you’re gonna hear this year.  I will always dig moments in time like this where it’d be a whole lot easier for me to list the things I don’t like about a song than the million things that I do…there’s absolutely nothing that I’d change about “Forgive It All” and I feel like my list of reasons as to why you should listen to it are theoretically endless.

When we’re talking about evocative sound in the art of music, what we’re really referring to is exactly what Reece Van Schalkwyk is doing so extremely well.  If you can get through a song like “Forgive It All” and somehow come out not feeling like you just witnessed something undeniably special…then trust me when I tell ya, you need to get that checked out by a professional doctor, asap – there’s a good chance that your heart is MISSING.  Reece speaks on behalf of so many people around the world that have struggled for acceptance in their own way through a song like this, and reveals how empowering it is to discover your true voice through the strength of which it’s performed.  No joke y’all…when Reece goes to hit the high notes and summons the pure power of the meaning of these words, the results are extraordinary…like…you can practically feel the weight come off of Van Schalkwyk’s shoulders as the air gets pushed through your speakers.  It’s really quite something to experience, and I don’t think this is a moment in music that I’m about to forget anytime soon.  This is one of those artists you discover and know they’ve got an incredible gift that has just been waiting to be shared with the world, 100%.  Now is Reece’s time, and you can not only hear this artist is in full bloom, but you can see it onscreen as well through the stellar video that has been created to support “Forgive It All” too.  Reece is going places, and it’s undeniable.  From a previously broken spirit, to finding a path to acceptance and self-love, “Forgive It All” becomes a genuine anthem for those out there that need to find a way to turn their own tragedies into triumphs.  Powerfully artistic to witness onscreen, with absolutely epic guitars in the mix from Ross Rowley, to the immaculately moving way that Reece sings this song through the lowest of lows to the highest of highs, the range of emotions on display throughout “Forgive It All” are nothing short of breathtaking to experience.  Mark my words – Van Schalkwyk is destined for a whole bunch of hardware one day…I don’t know what kind of awards are out there and which ones will be taken home, but they’re coming Reece’s way, rest assured.  I’m completely 100% convinced of it, from this singular experience so far – Reece Van Schalkwyk has got something significantly special that the rest of the scene just don’t have, and it’s bound to lead this artist right to the very top of your playlists this year.

This single is as open, honest, vulnerable, and real as it gets – Van Schalkwyk should be truly proud.  Take a page out of Reece’s playbook y’all.  Find your path to acceptance, and celebrate the beautiful people that you are, each and every day.  “Forgive It All,” from your past mistakes, to the ones you’ll make in the future ahead, allow yourself to grow, evolve, become the person you’ve always been destined to become, and keep on moving forward with all that you are and everything you’ve got.
