JACK TITUS – “Love Language”

 JACK TITUS – “Love Language”

JACK TITUS – “Love Language” – Single Review

I am…hmm…well, I suppose the best way to put it is that I’m just as much of a fan of great Pop music as anyone else is, or at least, just as impervious to it I suppose.  The only thing that really makes me any different would be the fact that I’m willing to acknowledge it’s actually a whole lot more rare than most folks would likely acknowledge.  Pop is by far and away one of the easiest genres to drown inside the sea of sameness, and to stand out from the rest of what’s out there, you really gotta have the undeniable X-factor.  No lie – JACK TITUS has got a real shot at carving himself out a lengthy career doing what he’s doing.  When I put on his new song “Love Language” for the first time, I actually had to confirm what I was hearing was as good as I thought it was…so I ended up backtracking for a moment or two to see what else was out there, and checked out his video for “When We Were Us” as well.  And you know what?  I loved that song too!  So yes…I can confirm – this dude has got the magic…JACK TITUS is very much that rare & special gem, and based on what I’ve heard so far, I think you’ll really love his music.

I really dig the look of the video that comes along with the video for “Love Language” – and to be real with ya, I was like, half convinced it was AI when I watched it the first time, which was another reason I wanted to see what else he’s put out there.  The reality is, he’s got extremely defined features that most folks would kill to have, a look of his own, and could clearly have a separate career as a male model if he chose to go that route instead.  So…I mean…trust me when I tell ya, he’s the total package, and the kind of artist that record execs dream about discovering one day.  When he started to sing on “Love Language” is was instantly apparent that he had the magic I was looking for in a great melody, and to be truthful, even this single was only built on what he’d created in the verses, I’m sure I’d still have been a fan.  When he hit the melody he’s written for the chorus however, with such extraordinary style and stunning songwriting…I was like…c’mon y’all…good game – JACK TITUS proves he’s outright IRRESISTIBLE in what you’ll hear in the main hooks of “Love Language,” and I can practically guarantee you’ll feel the very same way I do.  If you don’t, you’re probably made of granite stone, and there wouldn’t be much of anything that I, or anyone could do to help ya.  Truly, this dude is dazzling, charming, expressive, and a genuinely great singer…I really don’t know how anyone could come to a different conclusion about JACK than I have by listening to “Love Language.”  You know how you come across those singers that can convince you of their greatness without using a single word?  He’s one of’em.  I’m not talking about looks – I’m talking about melody…I’m talking about vocalizations…I’m talking about the use of a voice without using actual words.  The foundations of the main hooks in “Love Language” are quite centered around the fact that JACK doesn’t need to even use WORDS to pull you in for a listen – the undeniable appeal that he creates with the natural melody of his voice is all that any of us would ever need to keep listening and stay fully engaged with a song like this.  I’m more than impressed – I’m a genuine fan now.

So…to recap…for those of you in the back in case anyone’s not quite getting what I’m laying down here – JACK TITUS has got an extremely bright future ahead, and every reason to believe that his combination of talent, charm, and rizz is gonna take his career to its maximum potential as time goes on.  Is he totally off the hook from criticism and perfect, this early into his journey as an artist?  Heck no!  Nor should he want to be – we all need the opportunity for growth, otherwise we’d have nowhere else to go but down, and who in their right mind would want that for themselves, ever?  Both “Love Language” & his previous single “When We Were Us” reveal there’s still plenty of room to polish up his production to that sweet, sweet shine you want for Pop music like he’s creating…but otherwise, to be honest with ya, there’s precious little if anything else that I’d advise him changing.  He’s got the right instincts, he’s got an amazing voice, he clearly knows his way around a hook, and he obviously knows the sound he’s looking to create inside & out.  “Love Language” is absolutely stellar by every conceivable definition, and when you consider how early it really is into his career so far to-date, you kinda can’t help but be blown away by the potential for just how far he could go with his music in the future to follow.  To be this far along already in his songwriting and singing, is nothing short of remarkable in every way – JACK TITUS is going to go on to wow the world several times over if he’s capable of delivering performances like the one you hear on his first two singles.  “Love Language” is every bit as endearing as it is accessible…it’s the kind of song that people naturally fall in love with, and to.  JACK TITUS is definitely an artist you want on your radar & playlists…and once you’ve got him there, I’m convinced he’ll become a permanent part of the soundtrack to the rest of your life.  No joke folks – this guy has the X-factor Pop needs to make a resounding impact on the hearts & minds  out there – mark my words.
