Dante Law – “Weatherman” – Music Video Post

Don’t go killin’ the vibe – make sure you’re catching one like Dante Law is!

A solid Trap single from the man himself, supported with a stellar video brought to you by the creative mind of OG Vinchenzo, who also served as assistant director on “Weatherman” – clearly their combined talents have immediately lead to impressive results.  You don’t have to take my word for it, you can see it for yourself – “Weatherman” has racked up tens of thousands of hits within less than a mere two weeks of its official release on YouTube alone, as scores of music fans from around the globe tune into Dante’s new video/single online.  Considering the fact that it’s less than two minutes in total length, you gotta applaud all involved for creating the kind of entertainment that people are truly looking for today.

Because if you’re doin’ something that’s 1:47, and you’ve even made time for opening credits, believe me when I tell ya, you’ll have to keep things moving quickly from there on in, and have the right kind of combination of style & sound to get viewers & listeners instantly engaged.  Where “Weatherman” ends up scoring a big win is by keeping it light right off the drop, putting Dante into a news broadcast with a co-anchor of his own, and chyrons running below them that succeed in instantly getting a laugh outta ya.  For example, when you see the “Weather Woman” for the very first time onscreen – underneath that introductory title, you’ll also see her purpose in being there at all, which is to be “talking about the news and other shit.”  Love it!  Like I said, it’s the smart moves in key details like this that not only get us paying close attention to the video, but also get us wondering what else we might see onscreen as well.

What it really comes down to, is making sure that you play to your strengths, which is where things truly go right for Dante Law in this new single/video.  I mean, Dante’s clearly got personality, so directors cm_ghapo and OG Vinchenzo obviously went about making the visuals for “Weatherman” represent the man behind the music in the best possible light & showcased the wild character that Law naturally has.  Plus, sure, even though it’s a short track and all, Law still manages to pack in the hooks, personality, and perhaps even a couple shots of Patron during the time he’s got onscreen in the video, before hittin’ up a ride in a Cybertruck & taking his lady-friend on a private shopping spree as well.  Lots goin’ on to keep you listening, watching, and entertained from sight to sound.  When this young baller ain’t busy handlin’ his business on the basketball court, he’s found his way to the studio booth to become a verifiable multi-talent with all kinds of paths to the success he’s destined for.  “Weatherman” might be where it starts, but clearly Law has got major plans to continue his journey into life as an artist as well, and there’s no doubt that 2025 is going to be a seriously groundbreaking year in his career.  Dante’s prayers for the rain to go away might have already been answered…as far as we can tell, there’s nothing but sunny skies and a bright future ahead for this young mogul, but make no mistake, he might just go stormin’ the charts!
