Being in promotions & all…you know, the dude that comes here to tell ya about what you should BEE listening to (see what I did there?) – I’ve long been on the record in saying that you gotta do everything you can until the WORLD hears your music. It doesn’t always happen overnight – but if you BEElieve in what you do, keep pushing it out there around the globe until you know for a fact that every person out there has heard it! Take the BigBangBayBees for example, who come to our Canadian pages all the way from Toulouse in France – you can find evidence online that’ll prove this song “Smoldering Sun” and the EP it came from called Little Nothing actually traces back all the way to 2014! I haven’t heard it yet – so it’s ALL-NEW to me, and perhaps it will be to you as well. In any event, this is one wildly kickass track to have brought back nearly a decade later to remind ya that BigBangBayBees are out there, thriving, and still rockin’ the socks off of anyone that’s listening. From what I can see, it looks like they’re re-releasing their past material and gearing up to rock the planet once again, and I’m all for it! “Smoldering Sun” is a scorching hot Alt/Rock single that undeniably hits the mark, 100%. Not only does it start out with highly enticing & mysterious vibes, but the way BigBangBayBees infuse their collective energy into this cut as it shifts into gear is nothing short of straight-up marvelous – “Smoldering Sun” becomes even more wildly gripping, melodic, irresistibly addictive, and powerfully engaging as it continues to play on. From the hard-hitting harmonies, to the payload delivered through the chorus, to the way the entire band moves as one seriously unified entity together – “Smoldering Sun” is a real stellar single to put out there as the gateway into their music whether you already know them or just need a reminder to come back to the hive!
