From the mind of DIY musician Alan James, the brand-new single “Seeing This Way” comes directly from the latest Beavoys EP, called World Is Broadway, released officially online at the end of 2024. Gifted with an uncanny ability to recreate throwback sounds perfectly in the modern-day, anyone out there having a listen to “Seeing This Way” would likely swear it came straight out of the psych-60s era and never even think to question it! Truly extraordinary in that regard, this one-man band known as Beavoys is full proof that Alan’s exceptional talents produce undeniably remarkable results – he has absolutely nailed the sonic sincerity & mesmerizing melodies of the quintessential sixties sound on “Seeing This Way,” and we can only imagine that there are going to be a ton of music fans all around the world that will genuinely appreciate how he’s brought back on of history’s most beloved vibes to be enjoyed in the present day. Complete with a psychedelic-inspired video to support “Seeing This Way,” you get all those wonderful colors you wanna see accompanying a song like this all swirling around throughout the visuals, while our hero Alan stares off into the distance with a big ol’ smile that shows he’s enjoying this cosmically-tinged experience every bit as we are as we watch and listen to this cut from the World Is Broadway EP. He had an incredibly busy and groundbreaking year in 2024 that saw the release of three separate Eps online, in addition to a whole bunch of singles along the way – all really put out there in the final quarter between October to December. If that high level of output, and the fact that he’s got new music beyond the World Is Broadway EP out there already this year are any indication of what we can expect in 2025, Beavoys is about to have extremely pivotal days ahead as Alan gets set to make a permanent mark in music’s history, and establish his place in the independent scene.
