From his debut album Missouri Breaks, to his sophomore release called Hillbilly Heaven, to his latest record & most ambitious record to-date called Chronophobia, somehow Carl continues to thrill our sonic palettes with his creative ingenuity. With a crossover sound of his own that blends spine-tingling guitar riffs with Spoken Word samples that come from all kinds of unique sources, Anderson has generated an entire series of completely riveting material that moves the mind while it excites your ears. You factor in his sensational talents and gifted precision on the ol’ axe, alongside his penchant for capturing samples that are curiosity-inducing in all the right ways, and it’s clear that Carl has carved out a place of his own in music’s history by blazing his own trail. It’s been astounding to hear him crushing it year after year after year – Chronophobia is an audible triumph; we can only hope that he continues to keep raising the stakes & setting the standard for creativity and art in music for the rest to follow – he’s got a musical mind that’s entirely unparalleled.
