SBS Separated 2020 Day 30/31: Hillary Dumoulin – “Shallow”

SBS Separated returns for March 2020!  Catch all kinds of amazing music, unseen moments & unreleased live footage throughout the entire month.  If you read our review on her album “Fools Gold,” you already know we’ve got a lot of love for Hillary Dumoulin and her beautiful voice.  You might have already seen her yourself, backing up artist Kerry Jayne with Missy Knott earlier on in this series, collaborating on the song “Red-winged Blackbird” when we posted that up.  You might have heard her first record, or her second…you might have seen her play live even…but have you seen her take on the monumental task of living up to Lady Gaga in a cover song before?  Because if you haven’t…you should!  Hillary nails this cover of “Shallow,” and introduces us to the talents of Brandon Humphrey in the process as they share the vocals in this duet, live from The Rainbow Bistro in Ottawa 2019.  Enjoy!
