SBS Live This Week 211

Alright, we can officially share what we were doin’ at the City And Colour concert last year – we were there to check out Nathaniel Rateliff, finally, at long last!  Believe it or not, we TRIED to see Nathaniel one time before, at Bluesfest in Ottawa in 2022, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get anywhere near the stage with about thirty minutes prior to the set even starting.  We’re talking packed like sardines into a tin can, then the can exploded, and then there were sardines everywhere…stacked in the can, outside the can, around the can – you get it – people were so stoked to see Rateliff perform that we could only get close enough to hear it, but never saw the man play officially until two years later opening up for City And Colour at Rogers Arena in 2024.  Now we’re practically like family, and we just saw Nathaniel play his own headlining set at the same giant arena only a year later…but we’ll share that with you in the future.  For now, come see what we saw and the many reasons why we’ll always catch Nathaniel Rateliff when he comes to town by checking out this amazing set from last year, and stick around for a bonus video from The Pack A.D. at the Rickshaw in 2024!
