Gone Fishin’

No…I do not actually fish…

It’s that magical time of year y’all…that time where I actually pull myself away from the speakers for a hot minute or two and take myself a vacation.  Coincidence that it coincides with the NBA Playoffs?  I’ll let you decide!  Either way, as you make that decision, know that I am far, far away, with my feet up on the beach in Mexico somewhere, contemplating on whether or not I should really come back, or just send someone to help ship my dog to wherever me and my next margarita have ended up.

You know I’m kidding…at least, kind of.  I’m serious about the vacation part, but of course I’m coming back…eventually.  Gimme a couple weeks to recharge and sort myself out in the Mexico sunshine, and I’ll return to tell you all about your music the moment I’m back.  Lots of great things planned out for 2023, including a wild return to SBS Live This Week on the semi-regular, and a ton of new music reviews.  Sometime around the end of April, I’ll have reluctantly landed back in British Columbia where we’re living, and be setting up for a summer filled with LIVE music that is coming through town – an as always, I’ll be right here in my chair at the studio to tell ya all about it whenever it happens this year.

In the meantime – there are JUST A FEW other reviews and ways to keep yourself entertained on this site of ours in my absence…so please feel free to keep yourself occupied & listening to new tunes whilst I’m gone.  Support that independent scene we all share together, and take care of it while I’m gone will ya?  Much appreciated & many thanks!
