Posted in randomized order, our top ten nominations for the SBS Best New Sound of 2021 will be revealed on our pages from Dec. 6th – 15th!

Join us in congratulating our official nomination of day 10 – Polyphonic Exophilia!

Much like the first band that started this year’s quest for the best in our list of nominations, this collaborative crew based out of Norway also put up several impressive efforts that could have easily qualified them for our Top 10 list in 2021.  For a debut year, Polyphonic Exophilia went full-out, dropping multiple EPs and singles online as the year went on, revealing their brilliantly innovative, inventive, and adventurous sound in a massive variety of remarkable highlights.  While it’s tough to narrow it down to one record above all others, what they produced on their Vol. 3 EP was nothing short of magnificent, and the sound of their genuine creativity in full-bloom.  They’ve started something significantly special with their band – and you can hear it.
