One of the most remarkable & authentic voices we had the privilege of listening to this year came right from solo artist Leo Harmonay and the incredible set of songs in the lineup of his new album Astoria.  With stunning detail in his songwriting, an unforgettable voice fully loaded with character and charm – Leo’s latest record was an audible triumph from start to finish, destined to reach our top ten list at the end of the year from when it was first reviewed back in February.  That’s the value of genuinely memorable material – it holds up over time – and Astoria will be proudly livin’ on our playlists for years & years to come as a result of the effort Leo put into this stellar lineup of humble Folk songs – the man’s got a true gift, and deserves real accolades for it.
