Your Official BEST NEW SOUND of 2017!

Thank-you to all the incredible people out there that came out to vote in this year’s quest for the BEST NEW SOUND of 2017!

All-in-all, definitely another successful adventure – we had nearly 3x the amount of votes as we had last year!

And as those votes came in, day after day & update after update – ONE artist managed to impress our readers and their fans more than any other this year.  Electro-fusion artist Sienná completely crushed the competition this year with a legion of support coming out to vote for her latest effort, the album Q.O.S. that landed her in this year’s quest for the best.  Every artist & band in our top ten of the year contributed incredibly to their genres and the music-scene around the globe, writing & recording albums & EPs that ALL deserve recognition for the amazing efforts & sounds they pulled off in 2017.  But of course, there can only be one…that’s how these things go & we all know it.  So without further ado – join us in celebration and shout-out a MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Sienná for rallying the fans, spreading the word to come out & vote, and most of all, for putting out a stunning & unforgettable journey in electro music that was truly unique & absolutely deserved to be on a list with the best out there from the independent music-scene this year.
