Welcome to the official SBS Reader-Vote, where we turn the controls over to YOU in efforts to help us determine the BEST NEW SOUND of 2017. All albums & EPs submitted from December 2016 through to the end of November 2017 were considered for this year’s list – and out of the hundreds we reviewed, the list below represents some of the biggest highlights and most memorable artists/bands – the official Top 10 Nominations for this year’s BEST NEW SOUND.

Every one of these acts deserves their spot on this list for their incredible achievements this year – and while we can do our best here at sleepingbagstudios to put a credible list together, ultimately we let our readers and the fans out there decide who gets to live-on through our Wall Of Fame and be recognized as the undisputed BEST NEW SOUND of 2017, announced officially before the year is over on Dec. 31st.
Starting today, between Dec. 15th to Dec. 30th you can VOTE to support your favorite nomination/new sound 17 times a day! Every artist & every band on this list gave their heart & soul to their writing & recordings this year, & now is YOUR chance to show your support for your favorites & say thank-you with your VOTE!
