0051 – The Pit (Live @ The Media Club 2013)

Here’s a look at some of our favourite memories from our history…the SBS Photo Journal!  Gathered from our show SBS Live This Week, live events around local Vancouver, BC & beyond, and from all our random experiences here at the place we love more than anything, sleepingbagstudios.  Quite easily the band we’ve been most hooked on and followed the most since our inception – The Pit is in the SBS Photo Journal today with picture-stills from our very first time seeing the band LIVE in 2013 at The Media Club in Vancouver just shortly after meeting them here the month before at SBS.  Things were ELECTRIC for The Pit right around this time…the vibe in The Media Club was more than supportive, and we stuffed the place with about 10-15 bodies from the SBS crew of friends in amongst at least a hundred or two others for one of the best first-experiences I’ve still had to this day.  The guys absolutely tore the place apart…and though I’d go on to see this band multiple times afterwards…this still goes down as one of the most memorable performances I’ve seen from them.  Back in the day with the original line-up featuring Scott on the bass, and present-day members Tyler Hutton on drums and Trevor Hutton on guitar and vocal-mayhem – this show fucking ROCKED the crowd supremely and I still know quite a few people that remember seeing this band for the very first time based on the impact of their performance that night.  Take a look!
