0048 – Quicksand (Live @ The Commodore 2013)

Here’s a look at some of our favourite memories from our history…the SBS Photo Journal!  Gathered from our show SBS Live This Week, live events around local Vancouver, BC & beyond, and from all our random experiences here at the place we love more than anything, sleepingbagstudios.  In the photo-journal today, we take you back to early on in 2013, when one of my favourite bands just below the bubble of true mainstream success, Quicksand, reunited to take the stage at the Commodore Ballroom.  Was a hell of a show…and I ended up going with Tyler Hutton, drummer for The Pit/Closer…wasn’t intending to film the show, but I did manage to get a couple tracks on camera and a few shots of the event, which was as perfect as you could ask for….more-so really – Quicksand had been on hiatus for nearly a decade.
