0025 – Spaceport Union

Here’s a look at some of our favourite memories from our history…the SBS Photo Journal!  Gathered from our show SBS Live This Week, live events around local Vancouver, BC & beyond, and from all our random experiences here at the place we love more than anything, sleepingbagstudios.  On my first trip to Vancouver Island to discover music talent, I ended up meeting ten bands in a rapid-interview day that ended with me being awake for about 44 hours straight.  Not to be outdone, my next adventure would see me awake for 52 hours and absolutely unable to form sentences by the end.  Anyway…it’s always a great time…I suppose that’s the point.  We met a lot of fabulous people & took in a ton of talented performances in only a short time, forming the SBS Island Adventure episodes on SBS Live This Week.  Here are some shots from the first time we met Spaceport Union…errrr…well…half of them!  We didn’t get a chance to meet Caroline or Taylor that day, but we did get a chance to meet Aaron & Adam to talk music and get our interview on.  We did eventually get the chance to talk to Caroline – Spaceport Union have actually become great friends with us throughout the years and have stayed the night at SBS on their way through touring various parts of BC & beyond at least a couple times.  Recently we got a chance to see them live at Studio in Vancouver, and the following day they jammed it out once again for us in a performance we’ll show you later on, coming up on SBS Live This Week in the final quarter of the year.  But that’s the future!  For now – look at some pictures of where the friendship first began!
