0013 – Rob @ SBS

Here’s a look at some of our favourite memories from our history…the SBS Photo Journal!  Gathered from our show SBS Live This Week, live events around local Vancouver, BC & beyond, and from all our random experiences here at the place we love more than anything, sleepingbagstudios.  A man near & dear to my heart…a brother & a bandmate…and the original studio-partner of mine here @ SBS – you’ll see pictures of Rob.  A multi-talent & overall genius…one of the biggest tragedies along the route to sleepingbagstudios existing was the potential cost of our friendship while running a business, and sadly, Rob went on to other things outside of music.  The bastard continues to remain a massive part of my life and best-friend to this very day, but it seems like our days of collaboration in the studio working together at sleepingbagstudios are long, long over.  We got brave at one point…and we filmed an episode with each other for SBS Live This Week…part of it reflects the immense love & respect we have for each other, and some of it reflects the growing divide between us at that time…but just like everything we’ve done here, we’ve been proud to show that onscreen as it reflects a lot of the honesty in what we do at SBS.  And if he wasn’t still around all the time, I’d miss him a whole lot more than I do.  Accepting that Rob left behind SBS to do anything else at all…remains the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do at sleepingbagstudios to this very day.  Love the guy & think the world of him – take a look at the original partner in crime, the guy that helped me bring sleepingbagstudios to life and gave it its original purpose…Rob @ SBS.
