It is a well-known fact that around this site of ours right here, we’ve been big fans of animated videos of all kinds – and you can definitely add this cut from SnapDibz featuring Rey Khan to that growing list of stuff we’ll never get tired of watching…or listening to for that matter – this collaboration has it goin’ on!
Nothing about “Rivals” that’s not to love – from the message to the music, the ideas to the hooks, the stellar sound & the slick look the video has onscreen, clearly SnapDibz and Rey Khan have made sure to stock this single up with supreme entertainment for ya comin’ from every angle. When a collaboration works y’all…it’s something everyone involved knows not to take for granted…you end up stumbling into a whole creative realm that really take your music to new places, which is what appears to have taken place with this combination of talents right here. “Rivals” is actually the third time Rey and SnapDibz have worked together this year, following an explosive start with a MASSIVE viral hit called “Backwards In My Head,” which incidentally, features a similar style of animated video, & if you dig what you see & hear in “Rivals,” you’ll wanna check that out too for sure.
All-in-all, they hit a huge homerun here on this shiny new single. Rey puts in a sensational performance to bring a brilliant hook & melody to the chorus, and SnapDibz keeps the bars locked down tight in the verses…everything is authentically catchy, seriously memorable, and 100% compelling entertainment that’s as thought-provoking as it is worth turning right UP to rock out with.
