Alright…everyone from the band, to those special folks behind the scenes making things happen (you know who you are!) deserve a true shout-out for making this video look as badass as it does!  Filmed at The White Room at The Blue Studios in London, I don’t know if Ground Pilots could have found a more perfect location to shoot the visual support for their single “187.”  No joke – check this out for yourself and try to convince me I’m wrong!  The LIGHTS are freakin’ amazing, and the way that leads to this like, genuinely exciting way that the band moves as they shift between the light and the dark…it’s seriously awesome.  Don’t get me wrong – I’ve been to more concerts than most people will in their lifetime and I’m no stranger to great lighting, but that’s exactly why you should take my word for how stellar this all came out.  The intensity of “187” is perfectly enhanced by the location and analog lighting effects here – they went old-school with it, keeping everything gritty and raw, and man is that a suit they all wear well!

It’s always fantastic when you feel like you can see something that looks authentic in a video, and that complements the sound you hear in the music.  It’s probably more rare than most people realize, but a symbiotic match between audio and video don’t just come along every day.  Ground Pilots nailed this one from sight to sound, and “187” will truly represent them extremely well as they continue forward towards the official release of their upcoming Telekinesis EP.  No hype or hyperbole from this side of the screen and speakers – this band has got a damn good thing goin’ on and I am freakin’ STOKED to find out what Ground Pilots come up with next.  Ain’t that exactly what you want when you put out a single?  It’s supposed to be the gateway into the music, right?  They couldn’t have played this one any better than they have in that regard – “187” is high octane excitement, with a wild icy-hot sound and look to match.
