Gary Barve For USA President – “Hero” – Music Video Post
While we cannot be certain, it would seem that Gary has yet to officially leave the bathroom since we last featured him on these pages of ours when he covered “Lonely” by Justin Bieber a couple of days ago. Lots of people find that to be a genuinely comforting place where they can just be themselves, so hey, why not stay in there if you wanna shoot a couple music videos and sing a couple songs, right?
Taking on the powerfully evocative song “Hero” originally by Enrique Iglesias, Gary Barve For USA President has done a whole lot more than just sing this song. According to the long list of credits he’s got posted with his video up at YouTube, he did all the acting, the screenplay, the choreography, camerawork, direction, production, editing, and the lighting as well. Considering “the music video budget is about $0 (Zero Dollars)” (you gotta dig the estimation & the additional clarification in brackets, right?), you’ve gotta hand it to the guy for getting the job done. Give him some extra points for bravery here too…Iglesias is by no means any kind of easy act to follow, and covering mammoth hits is never an easy task, because everyone in the world knows this song and it’s impossible to escape comparison to the original. With a ring light you can see shining in his pupils as he gives you his trademark down-the-barrel of the camera style, Gary Barve For USA President commendably continues to put himself out there into the public eye, even if he’s doing that from the solitude, safety, and security of his bathroom…for now.
