Rolling through his bars with stylistic flow and a smooth complexity to his rhymes that’ll make you think while keepin’ ya entertained – “Trip” flexes the innovative creativity of an emcee with a natural gift for standing out from the rest in the Rap game. As solid & unique as the track is, so too is the video that comes with it – to say it’s a “Trip” wouldn’t quite cover it – this is a real mind-bender and freakin’ fantastic to watch! Fresh outta the box, Dirty Coke has gone about this whole music thang in the right way – he’s making music that’s decidedly different in a clever way that’ll always make his cuts get noticed as they play through your speakers, and with videos like this one with the exceptional quality brought to the animated awesomeness on “Trip” – it’s clear this artist has no problem blazing his own trail as he searches for vibes & visuals that’ll make an impact on your eyes & ears. I’m all about it! Not only do I love cartoons – especially a psychedelic “Trip” like this one is – but I genuinely appreciate the insightful amount of expressionism you’ll find in the performance & writing from what Dirty Coke puts in here – he’s not like everyone else out there and my ears are always gonna appreciate that. You’ll remember this single, either from hearin’ it or seein’ it – one way or the other, maybe even both – bottom line is, Dirty Coke put art, imagination, poetry, and rap to work on “Trip,” and the man ends up with impressively inventive results that’ll make a visual & audible impact on ya for sure.
