Ete AhPing is one of only two artists to make our list twice in the past seven years of running the annual Best New Sound competition here at sleepingbagstudios – and that awesome fact alone should tell ya something. Not only has he made it here to the pinnacle of the year’s best twice now – he’s done it back-to-back, which is clearly proof of just how dialed-in he is to his style & sound; he was incredible on 2019’s You Don’t Fit In But You Belong, and he was magnificent once again in the spectacular set-list/highly personal lineup of tunes found throughout his latest record It’s All Gonna Be Ok this year. Dude has an immaculate gift when it comes to adding genuine sincerity, emotion, passion, and skill into one entirely memorable experience – It’s All Gonna Be Ok was another amazing album from start to finish and further proof that Ete AhPing is absolutely among the best of the best out there right now in the world of Alt/Indie/Pop without question.
