What was made entirely clear in 2020, was that The Marica Frequency has dialed right into their own blissfully unique style & sound, and maximized their potential over this past year without question. Their most recent album, The Clone, could have justifiably put the band on this list of our top ten in 2020 as well – but this nomination technically reaches back a bit further, to the record just prior called Delicate. Submitted for review here at our homepage in April this year, the emotionally heavy record displayed an immaculate array of cathedral-esque atmospheres, insightful new compositions, and all-out stellar songwriting that proved The Marica Frequency was making a massive & mesmerizing shift into the artistic realm of sound. Remarkable material comes naturally to this band – but Delicate struck us as that audible line in the sand…it’s a true statement album, and verifiable proof that The Marica Frequency is at their best right now.
