0032 – West My Friend

Here’s a look at some of our favourite memories from our history…the SBS Photo Journal!  Gathered from our show SBS Live This Week, live events around local Vancouver, BC & beyond, and from all our random experiences here at the place we love more than anything, sleepingbagstudios. Some of these characters that you’ll see in our photos are bound to end up with a couple full-albums worth and pages here at the SBS homepage as we’ve gone on to form some incredible friendships with many of them.  Not only that – but in situations like this one here with Vancouver Island’s folk-indie band West My Friend – you outright demand that we put our attention in place…let’s not forget, they were your reader-voted ‘Best New Sound of 2014‘ – and we’ve seen & heard plenty of reasons as to why that is since first meeting them in 2013.  Here’s a look at one of the first line-ups of West My Friend, which at that time included former bass player Adam, and they also brought in a good friend & touring partner Brett Wildeman for their interview on SBS Live This Week – check out some shots from our time together!
