Rock band Count The Thief shocked themselves and the rest of the music-community with the most massive margin of votes we’d yet to see in our annual SBS Reader-Vote for Best New Sound when the effort they put into their incredible album New Role went on to secure an incredible 82% of the vote! Dominating the contest completely – the fans came out in droves as Count The Thief mania spread throughout the year in support of the highly unique and brilliantly performed songs that made-up the core of their latest record in the most decisive victory we’d seen to-date.
